CBD Oil and Hemp

CBD oil and other CBD products are quickly growing in popularity for their medicinal uses and other benefits. Water Changers can help you create high quality oil quicker and more efficiently, as well as produce larger harvests. It has already been shown that Water Changers' technology, along with a good carbon source (such as compost), vastly improves carbon uptake into nearly all plants. This applies just as much to cannabis. By making the carbon easily available to the plants and increasing moisture density in the leaf tissues and roots.

Water Changers works at a molecular level, improving CBD production in cannabis, while reducing the amount of THC present in the plant. Let's first explain the difference between CBD and THC. They both share the same molecular formula, C21H30O2, and have nearly identical molecular mass.

Both CBD and THC are derived from similar processes in the cannabis plant. All naturally occurring cannabinoids come from Cannabigerolic acid. While the molecule is similar, the difference in structure between CBD and THC is significant. See the process below.

In the final pair of images above, you can see the structural difference. THC contains a cyclic ring, while CBD contains a hydroxyl group. This minor looking difference produces very different pharmacological applications.

CBD and THC are both naturally occurring cannabinoids, and are both found in the plants in the cannabis genus. But the effects are significantly different. CBD is non-psychotropic, meaning it does not produce the "high" that is associated with marijuana. This effect comes from the THC compound. CBD has many known medical benefits, as well as many others that are still being studied.

Water Changers' goal is to increase the amount of available CBD in cannabis plants. We are able to do this by encouraging the separation of the cyclic ring, making it a hydroxyl group. By reducing the amount of THC in the plant, we attempt to increase the growing cycle of the plant, giving larger yields and producing CBD more efficiently.
